What you need to know
Backyard or fenced setups need a gate or opening at least 6 feet wide.
Anyone sitting on the seat must be 18 or older and no more than 250 lbs.
You’ll need a garden hose and an outdoor tap. Filling takes about 40 minutes at normal water pressure.
Once filled, the tank is very heavy (well over 800 lbs) and can’t be lifted or moved, so pick its final spot before filling.
Narrow gate in Burlington? Try the Big Splash Reverse Dunk
If your side gate is under six feet wide or your yard is small, the Big Splash Reverse Dunk is a good fit. It sets up quickly on patios, decks and compact lawns.

Planning a dunk tank in Burlington
Spencer Smith Park hosts the city’s big festivals. For your own park event, check permits with the City of Burlington and confirm a tap is within hose reach.
Some north Burlington lots slope. The tank needs level ground, so a driveway may be best.
Spots near the lake can be breezy, so keep towels handy.
Burlington is one of our longer trips, so book two to three weeks ahead.
