Oakville has some of the largest residential lots in the GTA, especially in Old Oakville, Bronte and along the lake, as well as family areas like Glen Abbey, River Oaks and Joshua Creek. We install tents across Oakville and take them down after the event.

Garden weddings, charity events and milestone birthday dinners are common here. Tell us your guest count and the feel you want, and we will suggest a tent and add-ons.

Oakville is one of our busiest delivery areas. We’ve delivered rentals for events at Sheridan College, Oakville Public Library, The Oakville Academy for the Arts, Al Falah Islamic School and the Nisa Foundation.

Large Oakville lawns can take a full marquee or pole tent for a seated dinner and dance floor. Our crew installs it with care around landscaping and pools.

For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They work as a cocktail area or shaded bar, or on their own for a smaller party. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.

Interlock driveways and stone patios can host a weighted tent without touching the lawn.

Uplights, string lights and a dance floor are popular for evening receptions. We also rent sidewalls, plastic flooring, artificial turf, flood lights, heaters, fans and coolers.

Planning a tent in Oakville

• If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.

• Larger tents may need a permit from the Town of Oakville. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.

• Lakefront properties are windier, so sidewalls and concrete weights are often recommended.

• Point out irrigation lines, gardens or anything you want protected when we arrive.

• The Town of Oakville books picnic areas online, and destination parks like Coronation Park have their own special event rules.
