Canopies for smaller Clarington gatherings
For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They work for in-town birthdays and for shaded serving areas at larger rural events. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

Tents on gravel, asphalt and concrete in Clarington
If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.
Farm yards with gravel or concrete pads can work well too. Send us a photo of the area and we will tell you what is needed.

Planning a tent in Clarington
If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.
Larger tents may need a permit from the Municipality of Clarington. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.
Open rural sites get more wind than town backyards, so expect us to recommend concrete weights or extra staking.
If your venue is a farm or acreage, let us know about lane access and gates so our truck can reach the setup spot.

Yes. Our crew delivers, installs and takes down every marquee and pole tent. Some smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

Larger tents may need one from the Municipality of Clarington, and arranging it is up to you. We provide all the documentation for our tents. Custom work that needs new engineering stamps may cost extra.

Sidewalls and heaters cover most Ontario weather. If the forecast is severe and an install isn’t safe, our team will contact you. If you need to cancel or move your date because of the weather, give us at least 3 days’ notice (subject to availability).
