Tents for Mono, Erin and Hillsburgh
Mono and Erin are rolling farm country, from Hockley Valley and Mono Centre to Erin village and Hillsburgh. It is a long drive from our Oshawa base, but the properties out here are some of the best settings we work on for outdoor weddings.
Farm and barn weddings, family reunions and summer parties on acreages are what we see most. Tell us about your property and guest count and we will plan the tent with you.
Marquee and pole tents for country weddings

Open fields give room for larger marquee and pole tents. Our crew checks the ground, sets the tent level on hilly land and anchors it well, since there is little shelter from the wind.

Canopies for smaller gatherings
For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They are useful as a cocktail area or shaded bar next to a larger tent. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

Tents on gravel pads and farm yards
If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.
Gravel yards and concrete pads near barns are common out here and can work well as a base.

Add-ons for Mono and Erin tent rentals
Flood lights, string lights and heaters matter more in the country, where nights get dark and cool. We also rent sidewalls, plastic flooring, artificial turf, a dance floor, uplights, fans and coolers.

Only if the tent is being staked into the ground. Request them for free through Ontario One Call before the install date. On asphalt or concrete we use weights or water barrels, so no locates are needed.
Larger tents may need one from the Town of Mono or the Town of Erin, and arranging it is up to you. We provide all the documentation for our tents. Custom work that needs new engineering stamps may cost extra.
Tell us your guest count and what you’re planning under the tent, and we’ll recommend a size.
Sidewalls and heaters cover most Ontario weather. If the forecast is severe and an install isn’t safe, our team will contact you. If you need to cancel or move your date because of the weather, give us at least 3 days’ notice (subject to availability).
