Wedding Tent Rentals in Brooklin

Brooklin tent rentals

Brooklin has an old village centre along Baldwin Street and a lot of newer family subdivisions around it. Our Oshawa crew is a short drive away, so we can install your tent and pick it up without much travel time.

Grad parties, backyard weddings and neighbourhood get-togethers are common here. Tell us your plans and guest count and we will suggest a tent.

For groups of 20 or more, a marquee or pole tent gives everyone shelter in one place. Our crew handles the setup and takedown from start to finish.

For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They are an easy fit in the smaller backyards of the newer subdivisions. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.

For newer homes where the lawn is still establishing, the driveway is often the better spot.

Planning a tent in Brooklin

• If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.

• Larger tents may need a permit from the Town of Whitby. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.

• New sod can be soft for months after it is laid. Let us know if your lawn is new.

• Spring and early summer are busy with grad parties, so reserve early if you have a June date.
