Tents for Port Perry and Lake Scugog
Port Perry is a favourite spot for summer celebrations, with the lake on one side and the shops of Queen Street on the other. We bring the tent up from Oshawa, install it at your property and come back to take it down.
Lakeside weddings, cottage-style family parties and reunions on rural lots are the usual Port Perry bookings. Tell us about your site and guest count and we will plan the setup.
Marquee and pole tents for Port Perry events

A marquee or pole tent gives larger groups one place to eat, talk and dance. Our crew installs it and secures it for the wind that comes off the lake.

Canopies for smaller Port Perry gatherings
For a smaller group, a canopy tent is the cheaper option. Our canopies come in 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20, and we can join them together for a longer covered area, though joined canopies aren’t recommended if rain is likely. They suit a dockside lunch, a small birthday or a shaded bar area. Some of the smaller canopies can also be picked up for free from our Oshawa location.

Hard surface setups in Port Perry
If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.
Waterfront lots tend to be exposed, so concrete weights are usually the safer choice there.

Add-ons for Port Perry tent rentals
Sidewalls help a lot by the lake, and string lights make an evening reception feel finished. We also rent plastic flooring, artificial turf, a dance floor, uplights, flood lights, heaters, fans and coolers.
Planning a tent in Port Perry
If we’ll be staking into the ground, request free underground utility locates from Ontario One Call before your install date.
Larger tents may need a permit from the Township of Scugog. Check with them first; we’ll supply the tent documents they ask for.
Wind off Lake Scugog picks up in the evening. Sidewalls are worth it for night events.

Only if the tent is being staked into the ground. Request them for free through Ontario One Call before the install date. On asphalt or concrete we use weights or water barrels, so no locates are needed.
Larger tents may need one from the Township of Scugog, and arranging it is up to you. We provide all the documentation for our tents. Custom work that needs new engineering stamps may cost extra.
Tell us your guest count and what you’re planning under the tent, and we’ll recommend a size.
Sidewalls and heaters cover most Ontario weather. If the forecast is severe and an install isn’t safe, our team will contact you. If you need to cancel or move your date because of the weather, give us at least 3 days’ notice (subject to availability).
