Tents on gravel and hard surfaces
If the tent can’t be staked, for example on asphalt, concrete or interlock, we hold it down with concrete weights or water barrels. Which one we use depends on the forecast and the site: in an open area concrete weights are a must, while a backyard sheltered by houses may only need water barrels, which usually cost less.
Gravel yards and farm pads are common in Uxbridge and can make a good base.

Larger tents may need one from the Township of Uxbridge, and arranging it is up to you. We provide all the documentation for our tents. Custom work that needs new engineering stamps may cost extra.

Sidewalls and heaters cover most Ontario weather. If the forecast is severe and an install isn’t safe, our team will contact you. If you need to cancel or move your date because of the weather, give us at least 3 days’ notice (subject to availability).
